"Vincivision" was a nickname affectionately bestowed upon me by my classmates while attending St.Joseph High School in Westchester, IL from 1980 to 1984. It was there I became interested in television production and especially then covering the "Chargers" sports events and other school activities on, what is now considered to be just a relic of a VHS camera set-up.

I chose to spend my next 4 years at Columbia College Chicago where I gained excellent "Hands On" experience and I became a Television Department Assistant which was a major opportunity to be more than just a student.   My "T.A. position" was responsible for supervising the everyday operation of the student ran facilities, equipment center; known as "the Cage" and their brand new Remote Production Truck at the time.  This advantage allowed me to showcase my work ethic with instructors who were working professionals in the Chicago broadcast market  and

graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Communications in 1988.

This lead me to WCFC TV38 in 1986 where I freelanced there as a Camera Op., Stage Mgr. and T.D. for 10 years.
While there I approached TRIO VIDEO; a Chicago-based mobile television production company operating nationwide, providing TV trucks/facilities, TV crews and engineering support for broadcast/cable TV clients, entertainment companies, major corporations and professional sports teams.
This is where I started in February 1988 as a camera operator for Chicago Bulls games giving me the challenge of covering Michael Jordan while I was still a college student running camera for Bulls broadcasts.

Which at the time was extremely rare.

Upon graduating Columbia I became a prominent crew member of TRIO VIDEO  where today, I'm the Senior/Lead/Coordinating TECHNICAL DIRECTOR for Remote High Definition Television Productions televising live, unrehearsed sports and entertainment events.
As of March 2012, Trio Video was purchased by NEP group, inc. and has become part of their Super Shooter division with remarkable expanded resources.  Although Trio Video no longer exists, it's PROGRAM PRODUCTIONS,Inc. who now manages the Crewing and supplying the man power for shows across the nation

described as "Passion from every Angle."

Between New York and L.A.,

from Mexico, Jamaica and Canada;

I work for such clients as NBC, FOX Sports, ESPN/ABC Sports, Turner Sports, NBC Sports Chicago

(formerly Comcast SportsNet)  and  WGN  in their live coverage of

Major League Baseball, NBA, NHL and Collegiate Sports.

From 1994 to 1999 I was a select member of the Core Group of Technical Directors who traveled

the nation for ESPN's coverage of the NHL.

Then I got the opportunity to DIRECT.

I'm proud to have Directed the Chicago WOLVES

telecasts from 1999 through 2004.

For my 5 years Directing the Wolves shows, they won the 2000 IHL Turner Cup and the 2002 AHL Calder Cup Championship; which was their 3rd. title in 5 years then and I did get to Drink from the Calder Cup

in the locker room celebration!
Oh and in between there, they made it to the Turner Cup finals as the runner-up.  They are a Great ticket in town!

The 5 years after that; may have been The Greatest "GIG" in the business:

Technical Director for the JERRY SPRINGER Show

at NBC here in Chicago !

The Atmosphere, The Facility,

The Crew People and The Jerry Springer Show itself

made everyday there an unbelievable event !

The Grass Valley "KAYENNE K-frame" Switcher is what I've been working on most since 2014

with a Lance Controller for an EVS-Spot Box.
I do Love it All   and   I LOVE MY Job  ! ! !
